Living Wage Roadmap

You don't have to figure it out alone. Get the expert advisory and practical support you need to become a Living Wage Certified Employer.

Your goal is living wage employment, but the path to get there still feels daunting.

The Living Wage Roadmap program is your missing link, helping you move from a desire to pay a living wage, through the practical steps that will get you there.

For up to six months, participating Calgary businesses are guided through a customized planning process designed to consider their unique industry and individual circumstances, identify opportunities, and explore the financial and operational implications of different approaches to paying a living wage. The end result is an implementation plan that business owners can feel confident in.

The program encourages peer learning and community building between businesses, however, the core curriculum is delivered in a one-on-one setting with advisors.

Participants are offered flexible start dates and scheduling throughout the program, with an estimated time commitment of three to five hours month. Sessions may be in person or virtual.

This program is the second part of our Living Wage series. Participants must complete the Living Wage Snapshot program before applying for this one.

Receive ongoing access to a library of tools, templates, and resources to use in your living wage journey

Join a community of support, including peers, advisors, and the organizations that steward the living wage movement

Located within Calgary
Employer of 10 or more staff members (full-time, part-time, and permanent employees)
Business owner or decision-maker available as the primary participant
Not currently certified as a Living Wage Employer through the Alberta Living Wage Network.
