Momentum values our strong partnership with Gateway/Immigrant Services Calgary, and we’re grateful to their wonderful staff and the opportunities our Gateway location provided in building new relationships. Our programming at the Gateway location has concluded as of June 19th, and we will continue to offer our programs and services solely from our main location in Radisson Heights.

For 10 months we were happy to welcome Gateway participants and introduce them to Momentum’s programs and services. We were thrilled to be able to provide programmatic information and workshops in the heart and core of downtown Calgary, making Momentum more accessible to folks who were receiving Gateway’s services. We warmly welcomed participants into the space with tea and coffee, we held Conversation Cafes, Workplace Readiness Workshops, Money Management Workshops, Exploring Entrepreneurship Information Sessions, Year-Round Taxes, Drop-in Resume Writing, Benefits Navigation, and Financial Coaching. Our programs and services will continue to be available at our main location in Radisson Heights.

We will continue to be part of Gateway’s referral system, making it easier for newcomers to access Momentum’s programs through their streamlined portal. We remain deeply committed to improving the lives of newcomers in Calgary through our partnership with Gateway.
