StartWork Trades Training Roofing

In this free training program, you will have the opportunity to upgrade your skills, get access to real on-site experience, and receive hands-on training with our industry partners.

StartWork provides employment training and work experience for participants currently receiving Alberta Income Support. Through StartWork training you will begin building a career and sustainable livelihood in Calgary and area.

Roofing involves the installation and repair of materials that protect buildings from weather. Roofers work on both flat and sloped roofs and it is an essential trade in commercial and residential construction.

To start in this trade, you may find work as a Skilled Labourer, Construction Worker, Roofing Labourer or Helper, or Junior Installer.
