Through our expert-led, highly tailored curriculum, including one-on-one advisory and mentorship from industry leaders and peers, participants of this program will develop and execute a living wage strategy in just one year.
The program includes:
- Customized support from experienced business advisors in both workshop and one-on-one formats.
- Access to mentors in the industry who have seen the success of living wages in their own businesses.
- A supportive community of peers to share experiences, insights, and knowledge while working towards living wage employment.

What you will learn
Access to business advisors to provide customized support to move towards living wage employment, including targeted support with HR, finance, operations, marketing and more.
Create and execute a comprehensive implementation plan to make living wages a reality.
Elevate your business and your brand through program-related promotion (strong likelihood of media coverage)..
Access a small cohort of businesses in your industry to share relatable knowledge and experiences with (we're not splitting pie, we're growing it!)..
Exit the program as a living wage certified employer!
Is this program right for you?
Do you qualify?
You are operating a brewery or "brewery-adjacent" business in the Calgary area.
You've been in business for a minimum of 1 year.
You have a minimum of five staff members not currently being paid a living wage ($26.50/hr without benefits).).
You have the desire and commitment to implement living wages in your business.
You are available to commit to all program components, including an average of 2 hrs / week for the first six months (planning) and 2 hrs / month for the second 6 months (implementation) of the program.
