This program focuses on living wage strategies for small businesses in Calgary's cleaning sector. Could paying employees more cost you less?

Through tailored, one-on-one support from a panel of experts and mentors who have "been there, done that", participants of this program will develop a compensation plan to make it happen. The program is offered in a non-judgmental, "come as you are" environment designed to make meaningful change in your business and your local economy.

Our next cohort will be delivered beginning April 2025 and will run for six months until September 2025. Exact dates to be announced.

Is this program right for you?

Do you qualify?

You are operating a cleaning company in the Calgary area.
You've been in business for a minimum of 1 year.
You have a minimum of three staff members not currently being paid a living wage ($24.45/hr).
You are open to exploring the opportunities and challenges of a living wage in your business.
You are available to commit an average of 3 hrs / week for the duration of the program (1-2 hours of advisor and peer engagement, 1-2 hours of independent strategy development).
