Looking for an affordable way to break into Calgary’s growing tech sector?

Two tech professionals work on a codebase together

Momentum’s IT Support Specialist Certificate Program is your accelerated pathway to an entry-level job in Information Technology.

As a licensed career college, and a local charity, we are able to offer tuition support for individuals who qualify (see criteria below). Pay as little as $500 up front for training, and only pay the tuition balance monthly once you’ve found a job. This will ensure you never have to be in debt for a program that didn’t lead to a job.

In this 5-month (20-week) program, you will complete 3 components of training:

1) Technical Certifications – achieve 4 technical certifications that are in high demand by Calgary employers, including:
- CompTIA A+
- MS 365 Fundamentals
- MS Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals
- MS Azure Fundamentals

2) Workplace skills – through workshops and one-on-one coaching, you will learn the workplace and job search skills you need to find and maintain your desired job in IT.

3) Work experience practicum – Momentum employment coaches will find you a paid work experience practicum for 8 weeks at a Calgary employer partner company.

Career Possibilities

Jobs you will be ready to apply for after this program include:

Client Support Analyst, Computer Specialist, Help Desk, Support Analyst, Support Administrator, Information Technology Specialist, Network Support Specialist, Technical Support Analyst, Customer Support Analyst, Junior IT Tech, User Support Technician
