A Momentum participant speaking in an interview.

Mo Ndlovu came to Canada from Lesotho, a country in South Africa, and through a turn of events, found herself requiring the services of a women's shelter. As the single parent of small children, Mo faced the challenge of finding suitable work. She chose to return to school to study behavioral science, and eventually decided to start her own business, which led her to Momentum.

Momentum's business programs support people from all backgrounds by equipping participants with business essentials. The programs are free, and include coaching, resources, useful tools, and a network of support. They cover everything from understanding the basics of entrepreneurship, fleshing out business ideas, building business models, and exploring the impact of your business on your communities and environment.

Mo now owns Jabari Cleaning Services, and provides employment opportunities to women coming from vulnerable circumstances.
