With Thanksgiving right around the corner, you may end up with leftovers! Here are a few ideas to keep enjoying the meals you prepared.
- Make “plan-overs.” Roast a turkey, chicken or ham one day and then use leftovers in a stir-fry, casserole or sandwiches. You can then finish off by making soup from the bones!
- Portion out individual servings into freezer safe containers and use for quick meals later.
- Freeze leftover cooked meat and vegetables to use later in soups or stews by adding to a container you keep in the freezer. Once the container if full, you are ready for a soup day!
