Three Steps to Make the Most out of Your Holiday Meal

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, you may end up with leftovers!  Here are a few ideas to keep enjoying the meals you prepared.

  1. Make “plan-overs.” Roast a turkey, chicken or ham one day and then use leftovers in a stir-fry, casserole or sandwiches. You can then finish off by making soup from the bones!
  2. Portion out individual servings into freezer safe containers and use for quick meals later.
  3. Freeze leftover cooked meat and vegetables to use later in soups or stews by adding to a container you keep in the freezer. Once the container if full, you are ready for a soup day!
