A Study on the Impact of the Changes in Payday Loan Regulation in Alberta on Borrowers

Dear Potential Participant:
Have you taken a payday loan in the last three years?  If yes,
We would like to invite you to participate in a research being conducted by a team from Mount Royal University in collaboration with Momentum.
We are interested in talking to you about your experiences with payday loans to understand whether and how you have been impacted by the changes in payday loan regulations in Alberta.
We would like to invite you to an in-person research interview to be conducted in a private room at Forest Lawn public library or the Central Library Downtown. The interview will last approximately one hour and you will receive $30 for your time plus $6 for transportation. This interview is private and only two Mount Royal University Researchers will be present. We are welcoming participants from all walks of life. If need be, bringing your child to the interview will be ok (we will provide coloring kits).
Participation is completely voluntary and will not affect your relationship with Momentum. The results that you provide and provided by others will be combined so that we can make conclusions about payday loans more generally.
The interview will be conducted by Dr. Mohammed El Hazzouri, Associate Professor at Mount Royal University who will be accompanied by a research assistant.
Would you be interested in participating in this group session? If yes, please sign up by using one of the following methods:
